50/50 crab meat gives you equal amounts of white and brown meat. 
The milder white meat is found in the claws and the body of the crab, and the richer brown meat in the main shell. 
It is the perfect combination as the white meat is a firm flesh with a delicate flavour and the brown meat, which is more paste like, is the part with all the flavour.
